When KLASH is integrated with your Slack workspace, Slack users and Channels can be notified about Comments in KLASH.

To set up the Slack integration you need to have the Admin role in the Company. Go to Admin Settings > Integrations and click the toggle on the Slack section.

You’ll be taken through Slack’s auth process. When you’re done you’ll see this screen:

Now, whenever you mention a user in a Comment, e.g. @Talbot , that user will receive a direct message from the KLASH Slack bot. Note: KLASH connects users via email. In order for a user to be notified on Slack s/he needs to use the same email in both KLASH and Slack.

Mention a user

  1. Mention a user by writing @user in the Klash feed
  2. Klash will send a notification on the platform and email (according to the user’s notification settings)
  3. A Slack message is sent if the following are all true:

Mention a Slack channel

Mention a channel by writing #channel in the Klash feed. Typing just # will show a list of available channels. If you don’t see the channel you want in the list, make sure you are a member of the channel on Slack.

Make sure to refresh Slack data as shown in the image above if you recently joined the channel. Klash automatically fetches new data from Slack every hour.
