The Jira integration lets you create Jira issues from Comments in KLASH. It is currently an Enterprise feature that requires that you’ve set up a Company.

To get started with the Jira integration, make sure you have the Admin role in the Company, and then head over to Admin Settings > Admin (we’re working on a better structure for these settings). You find the Jira settings at the bottom of this screen.

Click the toggle to start the authentication process, then follow the instructions.

When Jira is happy with your credentials, you will be taken back to KLASH’s Admin screen. When creating a Jira issue from a KLASH Comment, it will use the Project and Issue type defined here.

Creating Jira issues from KLASH

Jira issues are created from Comments in the KLASH Studio Feed. When a Company has enabled the Jira integration, a Jira icon is shown at the bottom of each Comment.

Click the icon to bring up a form for creating the issue.

When a Comment is linked to a Jira issue, the icon is blue and shows a preview when clicked.
